Overview
Estuary is an event-driven data integration platform that unifies log-based change data capture, SaaS data, and batch processing into a single managed architecture. The platform is designed to handle data movement ranging from real-time operational feeds to large-scale analytical workflows, storing data in your own cloud bucket with enforced schemas. Estuary features over 150 source connectors, including major databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, and Oracle, alongside SaaS applications such as Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, and Stripe, as well as streams and queues like Kafka and Kinesis.
For destinations, the platform supports over 60 connectors, connecting data to cloud warehouses and data lakes such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, and Apache Iceberg, as well as real-time apps, vector databases, and reverse ETL endpoints. Estuary is built to support AI initiatives through agent-driven capabilities, allowing agents to connect via the Model Context Protocol to inspect, observe, edit, and build pipelines. In-pipeline reasoning capabilities let teams classify, enrich, and embed records inside derivations as data arrives.
Deployment modes accommodate various security needs, ranging from public infrastructure and isolated private data planes to bring-your-own-cloud configurations, with compliance measures including SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR, and CCPA. Monitoring tools provide real-time visibility into per-task latency, throughput, and lag, alongside logs, a full CLI, and alerts via email or Slack. Pricing is usage-based, billed per gigabyte of data moved and per connector instance.
The platform suits data teams and engineers seeking to modernise their data infrastructure with reliable real-time pipelines without the complexity of traditional architectures.
